Kylin desktop system has biometric management tools and multi-factor authentication system with integrated authentication login methods of passphrase, UKey recognition, face, fingerprint, iris, vein, voiceprint and firmware. The multi-factor authentication mechanism combining password and smart device ensures the diversity and security of the system authentication and grants corresponding rights to users.

 

Kylin Mobile Application Compatibility Runtime Environment (KMRE) can meet users' diverse needs for application software. Currently, it supports processors such as Phytium, Hygon, Intel, AMD, and graphics cards from Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, Mali, and others. Additionally, it also supports hardware-accelerated video playback decoding for AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA GPUs.

 

Kylin's self-developed UKUI desktop environment, compared with the industry's mainstream Ubuntu's Gnome desktop, adds a number of modern and humane UI design, such as Frosted glass effect and Chinese priority sorting, which makes the system interface more comfortable and convenient. The Optimised interface design includes overall interface 3D shadows, semi-transparent effects, rounded corner forms, unified interface forms and consistent icon style.
